Valley of Human Bodies

Valley of Human Bodies (人体の谷, Jintai no Tani?) is a place in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco North Africa, where one part of the Ark was located. It is featured in Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA novel.

Profile[]

It is a place with rock formations resembling giant limbs, some smaller, grotesque and humanoid like. According to Kaji-vessel, this was the place of a bloody battle between hundreds of Evangelions in the last world, until a single Evangelion remained, hoping that the scale of death would open the tree of life. A Human Instrumentality Project of a past world had met its failure[1]

The Ark was like a dark-colored glass, like obsidian.

History[]

Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA[]

It first appears when Misato Katsuragi is abducted and teleported by Evangelion Unit-0.0 Mutant into a desert area. There, Kaji-Vessel and Rei Quatre brought Kensuke Aida and Misato Katsuragi near the Ark. As Kensuke attempts to touch the Ark, his right arm becomes salt and crumbles, Misato tries to protect him as. Meanwhile Unit-0.0 Mutant fights in the skies against Evangelion EURO-II Heurtebise of the European forces.

As Shinji with Rei Trois arrives through the portal, they fight against Unit-0.0 Mutant. As Armaros enters the stage alongside the muddled earthen lump of Asuka and Unit-02. Armaros approaches the Ark and sink it into the ground alongside him, removing it as Kensuke alerted his connections to the location, with different powers going into the search for the object. After this, the effect of the Ark is gone and there isn't a risk for anyone to turn into salt again. The fusion of Asuka and Evangelion Unit-02 Type II Allegorica that touched the other part of the Ark in the Moon is now also in the Valley of Human Bodies, and in a gigantic amorphs of different animals through the ages, and as she touched the rocks, it changed the rocks into gigantic versions of extinct animals like dinosaurs. Hikari attempts to save Asuka and asks for Shinji for help as she saved him by inserting a Q.R. Signum into his chest, after Super Evangelion got his heart stolen by the Spear of Longinus. As both Shinji and Hikari tries to save Asuka, with each touch in the rocks another giant lifeforms appears and flail until they die under their massive own weight, her gigantic shapes turns into a red shape until it stops. Shinji and Super Evangelion finally reachs the Crimson A1 and knees on the ground, as she reach her hand, he grasps it. [2]

After this event, various groups from Europe, Japan and a Coalition of African countries reach the area and tries to find the Ark, some tries to find remnants of it by collecting research material of the gigantic animals. There, Toji arrives with the cooperation of Japanese Strategic Self Defense Force, Liteunant Colonel Kasuga aboard the Strategic Defense Force Integrated Mechanic Soldier Type-4 "Akashima", there they prepare to recover the Super Evangelion and the Asuka-EVA fusion back to Japan. Toji meets Hikari and she asks him to bring Kodama Horaki back home as she was turned into salt, and decides to keep fighting with NERV Germany as a pilot, she hugs and kiss him, parting ways. All the personnel of every organization prepares to leave, since an earthquake was going to happen in the area, destroying it even further.
