Name

According to Evageeks, the correct name of this article should be "Nerv", not "NERV". As this image shows, they are right ~The Maverick 013 00:33, July 3, 2012 (UTC)

Hmm... the problem to me is that the logo shows it in capital letters. They note it as a translation error, the logo just seems to be what should be canon. I suppose, though, a change is in order. It will mean some recategorizing, though, as our categories list it as NERV also. Soxxeh 17:36, July 3, 2012 (UTC)

Rebuild is stated to be a revised version of the original series, so, according to that, it is the lastest source of info and more up-dated, hence, NERV seem to have been intended. Rebuild retconned that fact. Im not entirely sure, but I do belive Sadamoto's manga refered to it as "NERV" too. Besides, we dont have to do everything they do, especially when we're not wrong either.--Dark-EnigmaXIII-(Talk)

I have consulted this with my new Japanese teacher, she says both names are fine by Japanese standarts, i think Evageeks spells it "Nerv" to make clear the name is not an acronym. They are right in one thing, it's a "quirky" traslation, and it changes depending on who makes it. This means the article needing a rename (or not?) would be this. ~The Maverick 013 19:42, July 4, 2012 (UTC)

So long as the way it's spelled doesn't really bother anyone, I can't see the problem with it. I still spell it with all caps. --Aggression25 (talk) 17:18, May 24, 2015 (UTC)
