Shroud of Turin (トリノの聖骸布?) is an artifact in the Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA novel series.

Kensuke's possess the item that is described as dirty rags. It is big enough to cover both Kensuke and Hikari's body. It appears to have a protective effect like Orichalcum, shielding them from the takeover of Armaros.[1]
History[]
Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA[]
Toji upon reatacching his cut leg, awakens the power of Bardiel and gets control of the Torwart, giving readings of pattern blue as the hyphae of Bardiel also attacks the Torwart. Toji's use this opportunity to attack Armaros from inside.
Toji used the Torwart to rip Evangelion EURO-II Heurtebise from Armaros' spine, but couldn't allow Bardiel to take over it as it would infect Heurtebise and Hikari. The Devil's Spine would eventually remove Toji's Torwart and be controled by Armaros as it happens.[2]
Trois' Evangelion Unit-0.0 appeared and helped the trio escape and delivered them to the JSSDF. [3]
Trivia[]
- It is likely based on the real life item Shroud of TurinWP, a linen cloth that tradition associates with the crucifixion and burial of Jesus Christ.
