Shinkalion Z 500 TYPE EVA (シンカリオンZ シンカリオンZ 500 TYPE EVA-02?) is a Shinkalion Z that was “What if Unit-02 of “500 TYPE EVA” existed? "Shinkansen 500 TYPE EVA-02" is an original design drawn based on the imagination. A toy was released as an action figure on 10 December 2022. [1]

Shinkalion Z 500 TYPE EVA-02 is a bipedal robot whose body is composed of different parts of the 500 TYPE EVA train that is similar to Evangelion Unit-02. There are several characteristic elements of the Evangelion, like the head of Unit-02. The colours of Unit-02: red and orange with white details are also present. A headgear is also included, so it can be changed.

Two new types of weapons were created:
- 2424 Type Rifle (2424式ライフル (ニシニフォーンシキライフル)?)
- It is based on the Pallet Rifle
- Kaisatsukyo Rifle (カイサツキョウライフル?)
- A weapon that was inspired by the Positron Rifle (Prototype 20 with Toroidal Accelerator) and ticket gate scissors (a tool used to cut tickets at the ticket gates).[2]

A transformable toy was made by Takara Tomy, under the line Plarail Z Combine: Plarail Shinkalion Z 500 TYPE EVA-02 on 10 December 2022 for ¥7,480 (tax included).[3]
