Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA (シンカリオン 500 TYPE EVA^?) is a Shinkalion appearing in the Plarail Shinkalion CW toyline based on the Shinkalion: Change the World series.

Profile

Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA is a bipedal robot whose body is composed of different parts of the 500 TYPE EVA train that is a collaboration between Evangelion Test Type-01 and West Japan Railway Company. There are several characteristic elements of the Evangelion, most notably are the helmet and "collar" which are nearly identical to that of Unit-01. The colors of Unit-01: purple and green with black details are also present.

Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA is 21 meters high and weighs 50 tons. The 500 TYPE EVA, when transformed, becomes a humanoid mech, which keeps the front nose of its Shinkansen Mode as its chest. The overall silhouette of the 500 TYPE EVA is identical to the 500 Kodama^WP and has a similar head design. However, the head is mostly covered by a special mask that resembles the head of Evangelion Test Type-01. Similar to the original 500 TYPE EVA, the inner frame is predominantly purple in color.

It can combine with ERDA Positron Rifle to form the Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA Positron Form.

Plarail Shinkalion CW 500 TYPE EVA Positron Form was made by TAKARA TOMY. It was released on 06 December 2025 for the asking price of ￥7,920 (Tax included). It includes the Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA (CW), ERDA Positron Rifle and Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA Positron Form.
