Shūkan Evangelion Nigōki o Tsukuru (週刊エヴァンゲリオン2号機をつくる, Weekly Building the Evangelion Unit-02?) is a serialized publication based on Evangelion franchise. It is published by DeAgostini weekly. It is intended to serialized for 85 issues, with each issue with a set price of 1,999 yen[1]. Each issue contains parts of a 1/144 scale model of Evangelion Unit-02.

Each issue will include parts of a 1/144 scale model of Evangelion Unit-02, with 555mm in total height. Additional armaments will also be produced, including a "Positron Cannon" and "Magoroku E Sword". The four eyes that make Unit-02 have a lightnup.function. The entry plug hatch is equipped with a variety of gimmicks, including automatic opening and closing with a remote control. Two chest parts are included: the "Rebuild" version and one based on the design drawings by Takeshi Honda, allowing you to swap them out to suit your preferences. Also included are weapons exclusive to Unit-02, such as a PKN-02.2C Evangelion Custom Close Combat Next Gen Progressive Knife (Unit 02 Special), MM-144 Evangelion Custom Super-Electromagnetic Crossbow, GB-012 Evangelion Custom Electrical Discharge Portable Ordinance "Thunder Spear", and two Type MM-99 209mm AU Assault Rifle. You can switch weapons or enjoy posing them with both hands.
The magazine also includes Mechanic Sheets, characters sheets, EVA museum and new illustrations made exclusive for the magazine.
Introductions to scenes from the film series, settei illustrations, introductions to collaborations, assembly instructions for the included parts, and a box containing the parts of each issue. The model will feature light emitting gimmick and movement features like movable entry plug.
