Changes: S² Engine

The $S^2$ Engine or Super Solenoid engine is device capable of producing unlimited energy, and the power source for the angels. The device was first theorized by Dr. Katsuragi, in his Super Solenoid theory, and was proven correct when the inanimate body of the first angel, Adam, was found in Antarctica.

Use in EVAs

As EVAs can only operate a limited time without an umbilical cord (1 or 5 minutes fighting and 16 hours in survival mode), NERV and SEELE attempted to integrate the S², Unit 04 being the first unit to attempt doing this, though the experiment failed catastrophically. The first EVA to acquire an S² Engine was Unit 01 when it assimilated it by eating Zeruel. SEELE managed to integrate the S² Engine in Mass Production units.
