okama (オカマ, OKAMA?), born May 25, 1974, is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. In addition to manga, he designs characters and costumes for anime, and illustrates magazine covers.
After graduating from high school, he took the entrance examinations for Tokyo University of the Arts and Tama Art University, but was not accepted, and later studied oil painting at a prep school. Studied computer graphics at the game production company Tam-Tam, and made his debut with "Kairakuten" in 1998.
The pseudonym "OKAMA" comes from the fact that he uses only female characters in games.
OKAMA is a close friend of cartoonists such as G-Hikolow and Sayman Dowman, and OKAMA appears frequently in their diaries and essay comics. In the past, they also collaborated on a doujinshi and other projects.
Some of his manga works include TAIL STAR, Do race? and he had worked on various anime design projects including the new design of Second Angel Lilith.
