Neon Genesis Evangelion Newtype 100% Collection (ニュータイプ100%コレクション 29 新世紀エヴァンゲリオン ?) is an artbook published by Kadokawa Shoten that was published on 28 February 1997. It was the 29th book of the Newtype 100% collection. The cover was illustrated by Ikuto Yamashita.

Overview[]

The book is divided into the following parts: it collects various illustrations featured in the Monthly Newtype magazine articles between 1995 snd 1996. The following part are the CD, CD-ROM, and Laserdisc cover arts. The next part summarizes the twenty-six episodes of the TV anime series. The pages from Neon Genesis Evangelion Proposal are collected into four pages with 3x3 grid. The fourth part offers several colored settei made by Gainax (characters, Evangelions, Angels, weapons, world view). The illustrations and lineart by Ikuto Yamashita and Takeshi Honda detailing the construction of the artificial man Evangelion. Then a black and white collection of various settei of characters, Angels and scenarios like the GeoFront, Misato's apartment and NERV's machinery. Several interviews with the actors of the series originally published in Monthly Newtype magazine. The book ends with a overview of Newtype articles that were published and the voice cast & staff of the production. When it was published by Kadokawa Shoten, for 1456 yen. It was publicated internationally in France, Germany and Spain
