The book is dedicated to the male character from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. It consists of a collection of screenshots from the series along with some information about these characters. The book is divided into several parts, each dedicated to a character: Shinji Ikari, Tōji Suzuhara, Kensuke Aida, Gendo Ikari, Kōzō Fuyutsuki, Ryoji Kaji, Shigeru Aoba and Makoto Hyuga. The layout takes on the appearance of a fake NERV confidential file. It also quickly introduces the Evangelions and the Angels. Notes are available at the end of the book with advertisements for figurines.
