The NHG Series Airships appear in Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time film series. They are an exclusive batch of airships used by NERV in order to initiate the Additional Impact. Although the term appears in the final film of the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. One of the first members first appears in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, being the AAA Wunder with the name changed from the original one, NHG Buβe.
These airships can either act as an aerial commander's base or as a offensive weapon. Weapons of choices vary among different ships, but the primary weapon is the trademark Angelic cross-shaped beams, with the exception of the NHG Gebet: which does not contain any sort of weapons and focuses on direct combat. Each airship has an Evangelion as its Master, which has full control on its designated airship, but all Airships (except the AAA Wunder) have one ultimate commander. However, such airships can alternatively be managed by personnel under the absence of an Evangelion Master if necessary.
The AAA Wunder is an incomplete version of the NHG Series Airship, which bears a simplified armor and weaponry.
