NERV-Produced Anti-G Special Decisive Weapon Shiryū Prototype Unit (NERV 対G専用決戦兵器紫龍試作初号機^?) is a weapon designed by NERV's Anti-Godzilla Division to counter the Kaiju in the GODZILLA vs EVANGELION collaboration series. It was designed in the real world by Yoji Shinkawa^WP.^[1]

Profile[]

Its purpose is to fight against "Godzilla", the monster which attacked and destroyed Japan's capital Tokyo countless times and is considered as “disaster" just as the "Angels" are. This is an "Anti-G Weapon" which NERV constructed with technical data feedback from the "Kiryū Series" developed by the Japan Self Defense Force in the past.

It has two modes: E Mode (Eモード^?), when standing upright and G Mode (Gモード^?), excellent mobility and a forward-leaning posture that specializes in tail blade attacks.^[2]

Among its armaments are small blades on its spine and tail utilizing the same technology as the Progressive Knife, which can sever various objects at a molecular level using high vibration particles.

Also, it boasts a high close-combat capability with the "Anti Kaiju Battle Blades" attached to its arms.

The early name when announced was NERV-made Anti-G Weapon (Tentative Name) (NERV製対G兵器 (仮称), Nerufu-sei tai G heiki (Kashō)^?).

A toy figure was developed by 千値練(Sen-ti-nel) named RIOBOT NERV Decisive weapon for Anti-G Shiryū First prototype Godzilla vs. Evangelion completed Product Figure Sentinel (RIOBOT NERV 対G専用決戦兵器紫龍試作初号機ゴジラ対エヴァンゲリオン完成品フィギュア千値練機^?)^[3]. The figure is Approximately 180mm, made of ABS, ATBC-PVC, PA, POM plastics, the figure was modeled by T-REX and supervised by Yoji Shinkawa (Kojima Productions). The figure was released on July 23, 2017 for 20,000 yen (excluding tax).^[4]

A variant called Shiryū Kai (紫龍(しりゅう)}改^?)^[5] has a dark coloring painted with gunmetal paint.^[6]
