Minus Space (マイナス宇宙, Mainasu Uchuu?), also translated as Anti-Universe, is the place beyond the Doors of Guf in the Rebuild of Evangelion film series.
Profile[]
The Minus Space is the space which Gendo Ikari describes as "the realm of the Gods" where physical laws do not apply, and is where the Evangelion Imaginary and the Golgotha Object exist. Human senses aren't able to perceive it, so the LCL present creates a virtual environment for the minds of those inside to see, comprised of their memories.
Seemingly only Adams or beings with Adams-like power can travel inside the Minus Space. Unit-01, Evangelion 13 and Mari's Unit-08γ given part of the Vessel of Adams' power are the only Evangelion units to go inside.
Golgotha Object[]
The Golgotha Object is a mysterious artifact existing in the Minus Space. Its appearance resembles several crosses linked together at the base, with one very long end as the base of the object. It is covered in white glyphs similar to the red ones on the Angel-Sealing Hex Pillars.
The Golgotha Object can be seen through the Doors of Guf over the Black Moon in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo.

Trivia[]
- The Anti-universe (minus space) and Golgotha object are both references to UltramanWP lore.
