King Ghidorah is the main antagonist of the 2019 Godzilla vs. Evangelion crossover event at Universal Studios Japan, particularly the ride Godzilla vs. Evangelion: The Real 4-D. It received a new updated design different from the previous incarnations as it fought against Godzilla and the Evangelions.
P Godzilla vs. Evangelion ~G Cell Awakening~[]
King Ghidroah would possess Rei Ayanami and turn her into Ghidorah Rei, making her an enemy of NERV.

- The designs in these two appearances are actually different. While the Universal Studios Japan attraction featured an original design, G Cell Awakening is primarily a recycling of the Heisei King Ghidorah with the addition of a Core mounted to the chest.
