Japan Marine Ecosystem Preservation Research Organization (日本海洋生態系保存研究機構^?), also known as J.M.E.P.R.O. is an international environmental agency that appears in Rebuild of Evangelion. It deals with the research of cleaning the oceans after the events of the Second Impact.

Profile

Set in the coast of Tokyo-3, this organization's objective is to research the process, and return the red sea as it was before the Second Impact. Alongside it, the permanent preservation of marine lifeforms, thought to be extinct exist in the facilities of the agency, animals like fish, jellyfish, penguins and turtles. To enter the facility, multiple process of disinfection and sterility are made for the visitors.

The technology studied here would later be refined and improved by WILLE and KREDIT.
