Groundwork of EVANGELION Vol.2 (エヴァンゲリオンアニメーション原画集 Vol.2, Evangelion animēshon genga-shū Vol.2^?) is an artbook published by GAINAX on 22 December 2000 and republished digitally by Groundworks Co., ltd. on 97 June 2020. It features the original drawings of the TV series Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Overview[]

Volume 2 contains about 770 original drawings from the TV series' opening sequence and episodes 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 19. Color illustrations published in magazines and their original drawings are also included.^[1]

The 2020 version includes 24 color pages that were not present in the original release.
