hello guys. i'm new here and i am a bit lost

i'm an evangelion fan, have the old DVDs, seen old movies, etc. A friend told me recently that new content is being released. I went to look for it but i'm afraid of getting into spoilers. Can someone please tell what titles i should look for and wich order should i see it?

i saw original episodes 1-26 and last thing i can remember (SPOILER ALERT!!!!) is Shinji and Asuka in a beach in the end of a movie, after the end of the world

im not lazy to look for it but i have a serious problem with spoiler. Saw something about evangelion 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0

Is that a good starting point?

Now, about your question, i'm guessing the "new content" would indeed be the Rebuild of Evangelion. So yes, that's what you should watch next. Without going into details, the first movie, Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone is basically a remake of the first 6 episodes of the original series, with updated animation and a more condensed plot. That's the first one you should watch. The next two (2.0 and 3.0) take the original plot off the rails and would be considered new content. The last movie hasn't aired yet. So there you go, hope this helps you. There are a lot of manga too but i'm not sure you're interested in those as they are alternate universes.
