Rebuild of EVANGELION: 3.33 is a video included in the home video release of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. It was released on 24 April 2013. The video shows the evolution of the process of the film with a few step-by-step looks and comparisons between the animatics and the final product. The use of 3D animation in the settings of Evangelion Units, Angels, ships and the Wunder is also highlighted in this video. The video was also published for free in the EVA-EXTRA app.

- Officially, this is the only use of the term Rebuild of Evangelion since the announcement of the film series project back in 2006, when Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition had the name REBUILD OF EVANGELION（Working Title). The term Rebuild of EVANGELION would still be used in the making-of bonus features of 1.0 and 3.0.
- Some unknown character 3D model is used in the scene where Shinji is staggering.
- In the scenes where Kaworu and Shinji are playing the Yamaha piano, the technique used in animation is rotoscoping.
- The early color used in the Mark.04 3D models is the concept of Mark.07 by Ikuto Yamashita.
