Evangelion Mark.11 (EVANGELION Mark.11?) is an Evangelion Unit belonging to the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. It appears in the movie Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time. Mark.11 is the Master of the NHG Erbsünde and is one of the remaining Adams. Like the other Vessel of the Adams, the Mark.11 is piloted by the Advanced Ayanami Series.

Evangelion Mark.11 shares the design of the Vessel of the Adams units with the distinct coloring of blue and black and one extra lines on the left of its face mask to show the Roman numerals for 11 (XI). Like the other Vessel of the Adams, a small SEELE insignia can be seen on the Mark 11's forehead.

Features[]

Mark.11 (Along with the other Vessel of the Adams) does not have a A.T. Field. It has the ability to produce a halo below or behind it to levitate. It also possess the ability to open its masks to fire beams of light.

History[]

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time[]

Mark.11 is seen alongside Evangelion Mark.10 and Evangelion Mark.12 on top of the giant crystals of NHG Erlösung as Evangelion Unit-08/Unit-08γ is cornered. After the attack on Mark.10, Both Mark.11 and Mark.12 flies toward Unit-08γ, now with the power of the devoured Mark.10, Unit-08γ regains it's lost arm and project an A.T. Field in the shape of an eight eyed tiger and bites half of Mark.11, changing the color of the A.T. Field from pink to blue, leaving behind only the legs of Mark.11.

It is last seen as it vanishes from the world, inside the Unit-08γ as part of the Final Evangelion.

Trivia[]

  • The blue decals correspond to those on the NHG Erbsünde, since it is the master of the airship. This color also corresponds to Death, one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse as shown in the 1887 paintingWP by Viktor VasnetsovWP.[citation needed]
  • Mark.11's color scheme bears some resemblance to Evangelion Unit-00' refit.
