The Evangelion Mark.04C (EVANGELION Mark.04C[?], "Evangerion Māku Fō Shi") is an Evangelion unit introduced in the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series. It is an autonomous Evangelion unit introduced in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. Mark.04C is seen attacking the WILLE's fleet and mainly the AAA Wunder.

The Mark.04C is a gigantic disc shaped Evangelion with thirty two shoulder pylons on each side which has sixteen of cores contained in each side, with eight metallic tentacles (similar in texture to the arms of Zeruel from the original TV series) sprouting from the octagonal center. Each tentacle is divided in four parts which can separate in the ends. Unlike Evangelion Mark.04A and Evangelion Mark.04B, the under and above are identical to each other, making the total number of each specific part, double the number in total.

The Mark.04C units are capable of manifesting "pillars of light", strange cross-shaped red pillars of energy with what appear to be orange eyes sprouting from them. These pillars surround the target and destroy anything which touches them. The Mark.04C units themselves are underwater, projecting an A.T. Field over it to prevent their removal. However, they can be pulled out the water with enough force. The Mark.04C use metallic tentacles similar to the "arms" of Tenth Angel to latch onto the wings of the Wunder. Due to the large number of cores in its core block, the Mark.04C cannot be destroyed in one shot; all the cores in the core block of a Mark.04C must be destroyed to truly kill one.

Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo

After an unspecified period of time, a group of Mark.04C attempt to launch an offensive on the WILLE fleet, appearing initially as bizarre cross-shaped pillars of light. The Mark.04C's true form is revealed to be several Block Units hidden underneath the water, which latch onto the Wunder's wings as it rises into the sky using mechanical tentacles. The Mark.04C are stopped by the Wunder's A.T. Field and thoroughly pierced by a massive amoung of shots fired by the Wunder's rail guns.

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time

Mark.04C makes it's last onscreen appearance when Gendo destroys all of the Evangelion Units with the Spear of Gaius piercing Unit-01 and Evangelion 13 to remove everything related to Evangelion.
