This artbook, Evangelion Illustration II 2017-2025, which is a sequel to Evangelion Illustrations 2007-2017 published in 2018, contains more than 400 color illustrations, including official visuals for the films, popular campaign illustrations, and original illustrations drawn for magazines!

This book looks back with illustrations on the various projects that excited the films and their surroundings, from Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone to Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time, the final part of the four-part series. It features large-sized illustrations by the main staff of Studio khara, as well as unique illustrators and animators, from official film illustrations to special illustrations from campaign projects!

The cover illustration is a new drawing by Atsushi Nishigori, the chief animation director of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time!^[1]
