Evangelion: Jo (ヱヴァンゲリヲン:序, Wevu~Angeriwon: Jo?) is an action game created by Bandai Entertainment Company and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc on 04 June 2009. It was based on the TV anime Neon Genesis Evangelion and the Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone film.
Overview[]
It is the first video game based on the movie Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. It follows the events of the first film: Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone but it also incorporates elements of the original series. Thus, Asuka Langley Sohryu is present in the game even if, in the Rebuild of Evangelion continuity, she only appears from the movie Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance under the name Asuka Shikinami Langley. There are also Angels who are present in the original series but who are not in Rebuild of Evangelion.
The player has to buy skills and weapons to be able to fight against the Angels in 3D fight scenes. The player also has the option of choosing their interactions with other characters. The course of the fights and the dialogues allow to unlock different endings.
