Evangelion: Catharsis of the Soul (エヴァンゲリオン魂のカタルシス, Evangerion Tamashii no Katarushisu^?) was an strategy game created by DeNA, based on the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. It was released on Android based smartphones on 06 March 2014 on Android and 14 March 2014 on iOS.^[1], it ended the service on 31 March 2015.

Overview[]

In this strategy game, players would build cities and strengthen their defenses to fight off invading Angels.

NERV has succeeded in producing Angels clones. Large-scale urban attack and defense exercises conducted simultaneously. What is the unknown true “purpose” of the exercise?

Develop Angel clones, attack other cities, and collect resources! Strategic placement based on understanding the nature of the Angel clones is the key to victory.

Build an impregnable fortress city and prepare for the attack of Angel clones! Evangelions, Positron Cannons, N2 bomb...the combinations are endless.^[2]
