"A Transfer" (Japanese: "The Phone That Never Rings") is the third episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Overview
Shinji has begun attending school in Tokyo-3, with Toji Suzuhara, Kensuke Aida, Hikari Horaki, and Rei Ayanami among his classmates. Toji has been absent for several days prior due to his sister having been injured in the fight with Sachiel. When he discovers that Shinji is the pilot, he is upset and hits him multiple times. Another Angel, Shamshel, appears, and Shinji manages to defeat it, but not without going berserk and disobeying Misato's orders.
