EVANGELION:WORLD

EVANGELION:WORLD was an attraction at the Fuji-Q Highland^WP in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. It was open from July 2010 to 09 May 2021.

Overview[]

An EVANGELION themed attraction with an area of 405.9m². There was a 9.14m bust of Evangelion Unit-01, 1:1 scale statues of Evangelion characters like Kaworu and Mari, scenarios recreation like the Gendo talking with SEELE monoliths, the head of Evangelion Unit-02 (Beast mode) crashed into the wall, a 1:1 plug seat where visitors could pay to sit on it and take photos, a museum with replica setteis done for the films, and a merchandise shop.

An original story named Evangelion Projection Mapping (エヴァンゲリオンプロジェクションマッピング^?) (6 minutes in duration) was created using projection mapping was implemented on 25 April 2015.^[1]^[2] It had three different phases with new and improved activities inside like a new dual entry plug with Kaworu in the other side, the AAA WUNDER command bridge.

The closure was reported due to the need to free up space for a new rollercoaster.^[3]
