The artbook features a collection of artwork done by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. Most of them were made for the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga, but there are also illustrations for merchandise, posters, and concept art for the Neon Genesis Evangelion Proposal document. The end of the book is devoted to the other franchises for which Sadamoto participated: Fatal Fury, Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water, Royal Space Force - The Wings of Honnêamise, and Uru in Blue among others.
