Claire Littley, known under the pseudonym CLAIRE, is an English singer born in November 26, 1968. In 1995, Evangelion producer Toshiyuki Ōmori went to London to find a singer for Fly Me to the Moon, the ending song of the Evangelion anime. Claire Littley was interested in the project even though she had no idea of what the project was. According to her My Space page, the vocal arrangement for the song was her own, while the orchestral arrangement was by Toshi Omori. She personally feels that it's a "beautiful track" and "was wonderful and an inspiration to sing to".

Although she became known in Japan under the CLAIRE pseudonym, she did not pursue a career in music, and has never released a single or album. She is now a graphic designer.
