Bandai has released a fair amount of model kits based on the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise, starting in the late 90's, just after the show finished airing. These kits are akin to Gunpla models. They are as pre-painted tray of parts ("runners") that snap-fit together.
Limited Model High Grade (LM-HG) Model Kits
The LM-HG series was released shortly after the show ended back in the late 90's. These kits, being a bit old, requires a lot of stickers and/or painting to be perfectly anime accurate.

Perfect Grade Model Kits
The Perfect Grade line started with the Evangelion series and the PG Evangelion Unit-01. The line was then transferred to the Gundam series with the release of the PG RX-78-2 Gundam in 1998.

Rebuild of Evangelion Model Kits
A new line which was created to go along with the Rebuild of Evangelion movies. These kits are somewhere between the LM-HG line and the Master Grade line in term of quality, requiring very few stickers and/or painting to be anime accurate.
